Samvada 4.0 – Educational Visit to the District Court
The students of Class XI visited the District Court, Vanchiyoor, on Thursday, 9th July, as part of Samvada 4.0, an initiative of the Kerala Legal Services Authority (KELSA).
The students had the opportunity to interact with Mariam Salomi, Principal Sub Judge, who patiently addressed their questions and cleared their doubts about the judicial system.
The students then visited the Vanchiyoor Police Station, where they learned about its day-to-day functioning. They were shown the police lock-up and the armoury, where the collection of arms is kept.
Afterwards, the students were taken to various courtrooms to observe the court environment and gain a better understanding of judicial proceedings.
The programme also included a life skills session conducted by Shri Gireesh, followed by an informative session on laws by Advocate Susha.
The visit provided the students with valuable insights into the legal and judicial system and helped create awareness about law, justice, and responsible citizenship. The programme concluded at 12:30 p.m.
